Media Track

The Life Leadership College Media Track focuses on bridging the gaps between the technical, the creative, and the spiritual. We do this by making the technical easy to understand so that the creative anointing can operate for God’s glory. This program was developed with up-and-coming Christian creatives and tech enthusiasts in mind. Our heart isn’t just to teach students how to make videos or mix music (any web tutorial can do that) but to give them the tools needed to move into the next chapter of their lives, develop their unique God-given talents, and to equip them as leaders to change a rapidly shifting culture to one that glorifies God.

Since there are many facets of media, we start with helping our students discern their passion point and then mentoring them there. This hands-on experience gives our students the opportunity to be involved in everything from live audio and studio sessions to shooting and editing videos, live camera production, lighting, and so much more.

First-year students will also focus on the following fundamentals:

  • Excellence: Discovering/learning their craft, professional etiquette
  • Relationships: Thriving in a team environment, communicating as a team, creating a healthy culture, respect for authority
  • Order: Making a plan, simplifying their workflow
  • Flexibility: Troubleshooting, what to do when their plan doesn’t work, being creative within parameters
  • Innovation: Always improving, creating a culture of improvement
